The rate is published. All of it.
No seats to count, no tier to negotiate, no annual commitment, and no call to book before you can find out what something costs. Sealing, the audit trail and South African residency are on every plan, including the free one.
A hard stop, not an overage. Five envelopes a month, then it waits for next month.

Prices in rands, billed monthly. An envelope is counted when it completes, however many documents and however many people it took.
Live keys, embedded signing and webhooks are on the API plan and nowhere else — which is why it is not a fourth card above. R500 a month as a minimum rather than a cap, and the per-document rate improves on its own as volume does.
API pricing and referenceMost of the table is ticks, and that is the point.
The evidence a document is worth having — the seal, the audit trail, the country it is stored in — is not an upgrade. What the paid plans buy is volume, your name on the envelope, and a way to build on it.

The questions a sales call would have answered.
Answered here instead, because a price you have to ask for is a price that depends on who is asking.
- What happens when Free runs out?
- It stops. Five completed envelopes a month, then sending waits for the next month rather than billing you for the sixth. No card, no overage, no surprise invoice.
- What counts as one envelope?
- One envelope, however many documents and however many people sign it. A nine-page application signed by a member, a spouse and an employer is one. It is counted when it completes, not when it is sent.
- Is there an annual commitment?
- No. Monthly, and you can change or stop a plan yourself. There is no tier to negotiate and nothing to book a call about.
- What does a signer pay?
- Nothing, and they need no account. They open a link, sign, and get the sealed document.
- Can we get our documents out?
- Every document and every audit trail, on any plan, documented so you can leave. An export you have to ask for is a lock-in with a helpdesk in front of it.
- Do the prices include VAT?
- There is no VAT on them. Vumasign is not a registered VAT vendor yet — the compulsory threshold is R2 million of turnover in twelve months — so the price on this page is the price you pay, with nothing added at checkout. That changes the day we register, and this page will say so.
Send five without giving us a card.
Free is a plan, not a trial that expires. Sign something first if you would rather see the sealed document before the pricing.
