Sign something on the free plan, download the sealed PDF, and check it in software we have nothing to do with. It takes about five minutes, and it is the only claim on this site you can verify without trusting us at all.

Four steps, and the third one is the interesting one.
Anyone can show you a document that says it is signed. The question worth answering is what happens when somebody changes it afterwards.
- Open it in Adobe Reader
Not in a browser preview and not in ours. The signature panel is drawn by their software, reading the file — nothing is asked of Vumasign.
- Read the panel
“Signed and all signatures are valid. Document has not been modified since this signature was applied.” That sentence is written by Adobe, about your file.
- Change one byte
Edit it, re-save it, open it again. The panel now says the document has been altered. That is the whole claim, demonstrated against you rather than for you.
- Read the last pages
The Certificate of Completion: who signed, when, from where, how they were identified. It travels inside the document, so it is still there when your inbox is not.
It is the demo we want and it needs a public verification page to land with it — otherwise the sealed PDF arrives with nowhere to check it. Both are being built. This page will say so when they ship, rather than quietly changing.
